Agency is the ability to independently guide our actions. Student Agency enables learners to choose and follow their own educational path. Student agency increases engagement and motivation and teaches young people that they are able to guide their education, have power over their lives, and affect their world. In today's increasingly diverse classrooms, children often need to collaborate with peers who see the world differently than they do.
